In beautiful premises in the heart of Norrköping, you will find the headquarters of Holmen Board and Paper with the sales department. Here, we help customers optimize their cardboard and paper choices through communication, business development, market analysis, sales, and customer service. Business Intelligence (BI) is a service function that supports the sales organization with market knowledge, contributes to realizing new business concepts, and developing the business.

You will always be close to knowledgeable and engaged colleagues. The desire to do a good job and contribute to a greener future is evident. In total, we are just over 95 employees located in beautifully situated premises by the Strömmen river in central Norrköping, just a few minutes' walk from the travel center.

Your Future Challenge

We are looking for someone who wants to support strategic and tactical decision-making through proactive analysis and effective monitoring of the surrounding market and Holmen Board and Paper's operations. Your tasks will consist of market analysis and business controlling with a focus on sales. The areas of analysis include factors affecting Holmen Board and Paper's business such as competitors, customers, markets, macroeconomics, applications, and competitiveness.

The role involves a large network of contacts, both internally and externally, where the ability to communicate tailored messages and relevant information is a key success factor. You will have a strategic position in our organization, gain significant insight into Holmen Board and Paper's operations, and are expected to take an active role in contributing to our business.

The position also involves responsibility for and driving projects. Working in our team means addressing both general and specific questions, varying tasks, a large portion of ad hoc tasks, and occasional prioritizations, which require a high level of responsibility.

To Succeed in the Role

You have excellent analytical skills, proactively monitor the industry, and develop concrete proposals for improvement linked to your accurate analyses. You have a well-developed ability to effectively package and communicate your analyses and ideas, even under time pressure. To succeed in the role, you need to be accommodating and independently structure your approach/work and drive your processes forward.

You have a passionate interest in business, strive to deliver solutions on time, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. A flexible and service-oriented attitude is important as you must quickly change focus and reprioritize to provide effective support for ad-hoc tasks.

You have a relevant university degree, preferably with an economic and/or technical orientation, and ideally have previous experience working with or for a B2B business. We value experience in analytical work, controlling, or project management. You communicate fluently in Swedish and English, both spoken and written, and are accustomed to giving presentations. Furthermore, you have good knowledge of the Office suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint, and easily adapt to new IT systems.

The position is a parental leave cover with a start date in the spring of 2026, but according to agreement. Within BI, we are open, attentive, and maintain close communication with each other and our clients. We take responsibility for maintaining a high level of knowledge and have a structured working method, while constantly being flexible to reprioritize.
